Install combustible gas detection alarm in catering industry

Time: 2020-08-28

The catering industry uses a large amount of flammable and explosive gases such as liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, and artificial gas, adding hidden safety hazards to restaurants. Especially in recent years, frequent fire and explosion accidents in restaurants have caused bad social impact. So, how can restaurants prevent gas leaks and ensure safe dining for consumers?

Depending on the type of gas used in the restaurant, the installation location of the alarm also varies.

1. Natural gas detection: Since the specific gravity of natural gas is lighter than that of air, a large amount of gas accumulates upwards after leakage, so the combustible gas detection alarm should be installed at a distance of 0.3 to 0.6 meters from the ceiling.

2. Liquefied gas and coal gas detection:  Liquefied gas and coal gas are heavier than air. Combustible gas detection alarms should be installed 0.3 to 0.6 meters from the ground.
